There are times when you just need another person around...well at least for me. Even if that means someone is holding your hand a few states away.
I was up cruising Pinterest when me and Mr. Bingley heard a noise coming from my cabinet under the sink. I knew that I had a sticky trap there, you know just in case, and thought that it sounded a little like something messing with it. Well, I did not take this well. I will fess up and say that I was freaked out! The worst part is when you hear something and there's no one there to get your back and be there to call the cops after what ever made this noise has attacked you and mauled you.
So after hearing the noise I figured I should check it out. You know, because "Knowing is half the battle." Well, I armed myself with a pair of rain boots and a broom and tried to talk myself into opening the cabinet door....this was not going well or fast. I really needed someone to know what I was facing, and to act as a bit of a cheerleader. Since it was almost 2am the count of people still awake was slim. Thank God that due to time differences I had one person that could hold my hand (cyberly at least). So sorry Bri that you got stuck with the job, but thats what you get for moving to CO and being an hour behind us.

Ok so I know that this is going to sound sooo dumb but I heard something rustling around in my cabinet under my sink (I think it could be a mouse) and I'm freaking out! I've been trying to buck myself up enough to open the cabinet and haven't talked myself into it yet. My fear is its something that is going to kill me. Yeah, and Mr Bingley is laid out sleeping while Im running around the house in rain boots and a broom!!!!!

So I'm going to open the cabinet (I have a sticky trap in there for just in case and it may be stuck to this thus the noise) But I want you to stay with me while I open the cabinet if I don't respond in at least 5 min...I'm dead. Call my parents. Ok?

Yes....now just a bit freaked that something hauled it off. But then they are small. At least if it is stuck its not getting far with it on him (and yes the mouse is a guy since he is ruining my quite night by making me stress!!)

I'm going to barricade my bedroom door for the night and have my Dad do an inspection in the morning....I feel better just having looked under the cabinet and found that there was no wild rabid beast coming to get me!

I'm leaving Mr Bingley to fend for himself...darn cat better attack if he sees it!!! He's all big and brave when its moths...what the heck he need to buck up and handle his business!!!

Yes, praise baby Jesus it wasn't a irate raccoon running have crazed with a sticky trap stuck to his rear...I could imagine he would not be too friendly!

Yep we did
Yeah so that's how it went. So today I went all beast mode and started cleaning A LOT starting with "The Cabinet" that started it all. Oh, and to just be clear it was after I had my Dad come and make sure that there were no crazed wild rabid mouse waiting to attack me. After Dad gave me the all clear, I started cleaning like crazy and putting out a LOT of rat poison!
